Play Hearts Online
Play the classic Hearts card game online against three computer opponents. Avoid collecting hearts and the Queen of Spades while trying to finish the match with the lowest score.
How to Play Hearts
- Each player receives 13 cards.
- The player holding the Two of Clubs starts the first trick.
- Players must follow the suit that was led whenever possible.
- Each heart is worth one penalty point.
- The Queen of Spades is worth 13 penalty points.
- The player with the lowest total score wins the match.
Passing Cards
Before most hands, select three cards to pass to another player. The passing direction changes between left, right, across and no passing.
Breaking Hearts
Hearts cannot normally be led until a heart has been played on a previous trick. A player who has only hearts remaining may lead them even if hearts have not yet been broken.
Shooting the Moon
If one player collects all 13 hearts and the Queen of Spades, that player shoots the moon. The other three players receive 26 points while the player who shot the moon receives zero.
Winning the Match
The match continues until at least one player reaches 100 points. The player with the lowest score at that moment wins.
