About Midnight Rally · Turning Point
Turning Point is Studio challenge 05 in the Midnight Rally series. Complete a fixed 1800 m course before the timer expires. Use the balanced Apex R; two checkpoints add time.
This course reuses the full Studio game engine with a fixed seed and a separate completion record. It is a challenge variation, not a separate game type. Replays use the same conditions, while the main game includes its own campaign and mission unlocks.
Midnight Rally is a locally built HTML5 road racer. A road projected in perspective winds through three environments: Sunset Coast, Alpine Echo and After Hours. Each route has its own scenery, traffic sequence and finish distance.
Three cars offer different top speed, handling and nitro efficiency. Traffic collisions damage the bodywork and cost speed. A clean near miss builds the combo and replenishes energy. Choose when to spend nitro, reach both checkpoints for extra time and protect the car through the finish.
Completing a route unlocks the next one. Three medals reward a clean run, two reward fewer than three collisions, and one records a successful finish. Mission records, selected car and unlocks stay in this browser. The fourteen separate challenge pages use fixed courses, the balanced car, and tier-specific traffic and objectives.
How to play
Choose an unlocked route and a car, then launch. Steer with Left/Right or A/D, or drag across the road on a phone. Hold Space, Up, or Nitro to boost. Down or Brake slows the car. Reach the finish before the timer runs out with bodywork remaining. Two checkpoints add five seconds each. Near misses and energy pickups restore nitro. Press P to pause. Challenge objective: Complete a fixed 1800 m course before the timer expires. Use the balanced Apex R; two checkpoints add time.
Tips for your next round
Keep a clear line rather than reacting at the last moment. Save boost for a gap in traffic, brake before a crowded section, and steer back onto the road if the verge starts to slow you. Apex R is balanced, Vector GT has more grip, and Nova RS trades grip for speed.
