How to Play Sudoku

Sudoku is played on a 9×9 grid divided into nine smaller 3×3 boxes. Some numbers are already placed on the board. Your goal is to complete every empty cell while following three simple rules.

  1. Each row must contain the numbers 1 through 9 exactly once.
  2. Each column must contain the numbers 1 through 9 exactly once.
  3. Each 3×3 box must contain the numbers 1 through 9 exactly once.
  4. Select an empty cell and choose a number from the number pad.
  5. Use Notes Mode to record possible candidates before choosing a final answer.
  6. Complete all 81 cells correctly to solve the puzzle.
